Converting a Tennis Court to Pickleball Courts

It is possible to fit four pickleball courts on a single tennis court. When converting an existing tennis court into multiple permanent pickleball courts, certain considerations need to be taken into account in order to ensure that the courts are constructed and laid out properly.

A tennis court can be easily converted into two pickleball courts by simply removing the existing net posts. If the concrete footers and pipe anchors of the posts were installed, these may need to be gently capped with cement to minimize the repair needed for the surface. With this conversion, two complete pickleball courts can fit onto a single tennis court.

A tennis court is capable of fitting four pickleball courts, all with their own individual posts and net post sleeves. The posts can easily be installed and removed from the footers as needed to accommodate for varying levels of play.

This requires that four net anchors, placed at the center of each net, are installed and secured with a small concrete footer.
