10/26 Cleveland Park's King (Right#1) & Queen (Left #2) courts are first come first served - no reservations allowed. Lights are on nightly until 11 pm. Sign in on the new board please to reserve the next available court. The courts are popular and busy with a fun crowd. Bring your own Pickle nets please. Coaches must have a permit with HPARD . Named in 1973 by the Women's Tennis League after Billie Jean King won the Battle of the Sexes in Astrodome then MSL added The Queen Court in 1978 to honor the need band Queen| Freddy Mercury. Please pick up all trash before leaving and bag any food waste. The courts have been a trashy mess all summer - our volunteers ask you you to leave no trace. Recycle your old balls for the dogs in the park in the basket at entrance. Love playing in the Park? Help us improve the courts by donating $5 to the nonprofits court fund. In addition to the maintenance needed now we hope to Paint the rusty fence , add wind screens and a court brush and seating. if the kids are on the courts interrupting your game PLEASE instruct them to leave. No kids are allowed on the courts, period.
