General Thoughts

I tried the Wilson Echo pickleball paddle and liked it. It has a classic shape that provides a great mix of power, control, and feel. The weight is just right, making it comfortable to hold while still having enough power to really drive the ball. The feel of the paddle is great and I found it to be very accurate when placing shots. The grip is also really nice, providing a lot of traction to keep your hands from slipping. All in all, I think this is an excellent paddle for intermediate to advanced players who value ball placement and accuracy. Highly recommended!

Paddle Design

The WILSON Echo is a top-notch pickleball paddle that oozes style and sophistication. Its classic shape puts the power in your palm, giving you the confidence to hit shots with precision. The composite face and polypropylene honeycomb core combine to make a paddle that is both lightweight and powerful, and the textured grip helps keep your hands from slipping during play. The balance is just right, making this paddle comfortable to hold yet still pack enough punch to drive the ball.On the performance side, the Echo is a great choice for intermediate to advanced players looking for precision and control. It's accurate and responsive, allowing you to place shots exactly where you want them to go. The paddle also provides a good amount of spin, allowing you to add more spin to your shots. The only downside to the Echo is that it can be a bit too light for some players. This can cause the paddle to feel too light and lack power. This can be remedied with a little lead tape, if you want more weight.Overall, the WILSON Echo is a great pickleball paddle that offers the perfect combination of power, control, feel, and accuracy. Its lightweight construction and textured grip make it comfortable to use and its accuracy ensures that you can place shots exactly where you want them to go. If you're looking for a paddle that can give you the edge on the court, the Echo is definitely worth a look.

Attacking Play

I enjoyed the WILSON Echo. The paddle has really helped my attacking game and I'm reaping the rewards on the court. I love the classic shape as it gives me enough power to really drive the ball and push my opponent back. The weight is just right; it's light enough to swing comfortably while still having enough power to fire off huge shots. The grip also helps with my attacking game; the textured surface helps to keep my shots accurate, and I'm able to place shots exactly where I want to.On the negative side, some players may find the Echo to be too light and lacking in power. I considered adding a little weight to get a heavier feel. Other than that, it's a fantastic paddle for attacking players. The excellent feel and control allows me to be more creative in my shots, and it's great for smashes. All in all, the WILSON Echo is an excellent paddle for aggressive players who want to drive the ball hard and take the advantage. Highly recommended!

Control Play

Playing with the Wilson Echo has been an absolute joy! The paddle excels in control play, as its lightweight face allows for precise shots and quick reaction times. The grip-enhancing texture also ensures that I'm always in control and not slipping out of my grasp. I've had countless rallies where I can get the ball exactly where I want it, and it's been a great help in close matches. The paddle also provides a great balance of power and control. I can generate some serious spin when I need to, but I'm also able to keep my shots low and slow when needed. I'm also glad I opted for the longer handle, as it gives me a bit of extra reach on my shots. I also wish it came with a cover or bag, as it needs to be stored carefully. Despite these minor issues, the Wilson Echo is an excellent paddle and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a combination of power, control, and feel.

Sum It Up

In conclusion, the WILSON Echo is a top-notch pickleball paddle that offers the perfect combination of power, control, feel, and accuracy. It's great for intermediate to advanced players looking for precision and control, and its lightweight construction and textured grip make it comfortable to use. It's responsive and accurate, allowing you to place shots exactly where you want them to go, and it also provides a good amount of spin. The only downside is that it can be a bit too light for some players, which a little lead tape can fix. All in all, the WILSON Echo is a great paddle that can give you the edge on the court and help you take your game to the next level.
